WESTFIELD The Nancy Reynolds Elementary School will soon be torn down and rebuilt to meet building codes and turned it into a 21st century learning environment.
Because the school is a historical site, it will be rebuilt on the existing property with the outside being created as similarly as possible to the original school. The inside will be outfitted to fit the needs of todays students.
Principal Rusty Hall is extending the opportunity to alumni of the school and members of the community to take one last walk through of the school before it is torn down. That opportunity will take place June 10 from 8 a.m. to noon.
