Casey Sumner and Clayton Hall Jr. speak vows at First Baptist Church

Casey Marie Sumner and Fredric Clayton Hall Jr. were married July 25 at 5 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Mount Airy. Eric Leathers officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mac and Becky Sumner of Mount Airy. She is the granddaughter of Alma Key and the late Max Key, Beale Sumner Sr. and the late Elizabeth Sumner.
She graduated from Mount Airy High School in 2003 and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2007 with a degree in elementary education. She is employed at Wallace Elementary School as a kindergarten teacher.
The bridegroom is the son of Freddy and Rhonda Hall of Wallace. He is the grandson of Katherine Bullock and the late W.C. Bullock and the late Alfred and Dorothy Hall.
The bridegroom graduated from Harrells Christian Academy in 2003 and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2008. He is employed at Harrells Christian Academy as a teacher and head basketball coach.
Music was performed by Corda Entertainment with a string trio and Sarah Combs as the soloist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a strapless gown in ivory lace with ivory sash and a pick up skirt with a chapel-length train and a lace mantilla. The bride carried a bouquet of deep red gerbera daisies and roses.
Ashley Sumner, sister of the bride, of Mount Airy, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Jenna Draughn Baker of Morrisville; Olivia Bolen of Mount Airy, Jennifer Chapman of Macon, Ga.; Katie Demcio of Morrisville; Kathryn Loftis of Winston-Salem; Alicia Luman of Concord; and Stacie Brookshire Lerschall of Harwich, Mass.
The best man was Freddy Hall, father of the groom, of Wallace. The groomsmen were Nolan Hall, brother of the groom, of Wallace; Hampton Hall, brother of the groom, of Wallace; McKenzie Sumner, brother of the bride, of Mount Airy; Todd Brannan of Manassass, Va.; Reid Butler of Raleigh; Clint Knox, cousin of the groom, of Lillington; John Scull of Wilmington; and Brian Zimmoriwicz of Chapel Hill.
Gray Fussell, cousin of the groom, of Wallace, was the junior groomsman.
Melissa Brackett of Chapel Hill and Candace Knox of Lillington were the guest book attendants.
The rehearsal dinner, hosted by the bridegrooms parents, was held at the Pavillion at Cross Creek Country Club.
Susan Gentry was the wedding director. Creative Designs was the florist and Lorenes Bakery provided the cake. Megan Kime of Durham was the photographer with Skinny Dog Productions as the videographer.
The couple spent their honeymoon at Riviera Maya, Mexico. They reside in Teachey.
