McDonald-Theard couple marries in outdoor ceremony in Montana

LeeAnn Margaret McDonald and Nelville Leo Trey Theard III were married on June 13 at 4 p.m. in an outdoor ceremony at Lodges on Seeley Lake, Seeley Lake, Mont. Susan Leapart, a family friend, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Bill and Judy McDonald of Missoula, Mont. She graduated from Sentential High School and the University of Montana.
The bridegroom is the son of Leo and Gail Theard of Mount Airy. He graduated from Mount Airy High School and Appalachian State University.
Readings were presented by Hollis Theard, sister of the bridegroom, and Bill McDonald, brother of the bride.
The bride and groom were given in marriage by their parents.
The bridesmaids were Anna Nugent of Forest Hill, N.Y., cousin of the bride; Rae Hanson of Gallatin Gateway, Mont.; Erin Nugent of Washington, D.C., cousin of the bride; and Hollis Theard of Elon, sister of the bridegroom.
The bridegrooms father served as best man. The groomsmen were Ethan Thomas of Big Sky, Mont.; Jeff Martin of Charlotte; and Bill McDonald of San Francisco, brother of the bride.
Following the wedding ceremony, the brides parents entertained with an outdoor dinner and dance at the wedding tent. Music was provided by DJ Hart.
The couple departed later on a wedding trip to Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, Canada.
They reside in Big Sky, Mont.
The rehearsal party was held on June 11 at Outdoor Pavilion at Double Arrow Resort, Seeley Lake, Mont. Hosts were the bridegrooms parents, Leo and Gail Theard, and his grandparents, Gary and Marianne Pruett of Mount Airy. Guests enjoyed a cocktail buffet and dancing to music by Shane Clouse and Stomping Ground.
A barbecue was held at the McDonald family cabin at Seeley Lake on June 12. Hosts were Mike McDonald of Missoula, uncle of the bride; and Robbie OLeary of Seattle, Wash., and Maureen Driscoll of Butte, Mont., both aunts of the bride.
A wedding day brunch was hosted by David and Kathy Pruett of Mount Airy, aunt and uncle of the bridegroom; Paul Pruett of New York, N.Y., uncle of the bridegroom; and Mike and Diane Bowman of Mount Airy. The Jazz Brunch was held at the Great Hall at Double Arrow Resort, Seely Lake.
