Arrests
– Regina Lee Moore, 36, of 6210 Cook Ave., Winston-Salem, was arrested on Dec. 22 on charges of felony larceny, felony assault with a deadly weapon and felony financial card theft. Moore was confined in the Surry County Detention Center under a $27,500 secured bond. She will appear before the district court in Winston-Salem on Jan. 8.
– Kristal Esperance Brown, 28, of 4426 North Old U.S. 52, Pilot Mountain, was arrested on Dec. 23 with a felony governors warrant. The warrant was from Tennessee, and Brown was to be held until officers from the Morristown Police Department in Tennessee picked her up.
– Dereck Thomas Calloway, 28, of 479 Raven Ridge Trail, was arrested on Dec. 23 on a charge of felony warrant for arrest. Bond is $2,000 secured.
– Brittany Nicole McGee, 21, of 284 Hamlet Lane, Ronda, was arrested on Dec. 28 on a charge of felony obtaining property by false pretense. Bond is $1,000 secured.
Incidents
– Breaking and entering, larceny and damage to property were reported on Dec. 21 at 1134 Old Quarry Road, Elkin, when subject stole $1,000 heat pump; $200 window A/C unit; $30 brass door knobs; $10 wooden gun rack; $100 chest drawers; and $100 plumbing fixtures and caused $150 damage to door and $30 to mirror.
– Breaking and entering, larceny from buildings and criminal damage to property were reported on Dec. 23 at 503 Sam Fulk Road, Pilot Mountain, when subject stole $300 television set and caused $250 damage to door frame.
– Breaking and entering, larceny and breaking and entering a motor vehicle were reported on Dec. 23 at 170 Quaker Road, Mount Airy, when subject stole $150 VCR, $300 fax machine, $100 jar of change, and $100 clock and caused $200 damage to windshield.
– Larceny was reported on Dec. 25 at 3205 Old Highway 601, Mount Airy, when subject stole $400 cell phone.
– Larceny and criminal damage to property were reported on Dec. 25 at 170 Chadwick Lane, Mount Airy, when subject stole $50 copper tubing for gas line and caused $200 damage to tank and let $600 gas leak out.
– Breaking and entering and damage to property were reported on Dec. 25 at Gentry Middle School when subject broke lock causing $50 damage and entered outbuilding.
– Breaking and entering, larceny from buildings and criminal damage to property were reported on Dec. 26 at 202 LL Lane, Mount Airy, when subject stole $1,100 bush hog cutter; $500 riding lawn mower; $100 weedeater; $150 push mower; $100 chainsaw; $250 garden tools; $75 bikes; $40 gas cans; and $150 tractor battery and caused $30 damage to radiator hose on tractor; $1,000 to storage shed wall; and $50 to garage door panel.
– Larceny was reported on Dec. 26 at 156 Johnny Wood Lane, Siloam, when $100 cell phone was stolen.
– Larceny was reported on Dec. 26 at 112 Lighthouse Way, Mount Airy, when car and house keys were stolen from vehicle.
– Breaking and entering and larceny were reported on Dec. 26 at 226 Preston Lane, Mount Airy, when $1,400 television; $15 sodas; and $10 duffel bag were stolen.
– Larceny of checks was reported on Dec. 27 at 156 W. Cleve St., Mount Airy, when subject took checks and signed them with victims name.
– Larceny and damage to property were reported on Dec. 27 at 426 N. Franklin Road, Mount Airy, when $300 propane tanks were stolen.
– Larceny of a firearm was reported on Dec. 27 at 2352 Fancy Gap Road, Mount Airy, when $350 gun was stolen.
