Disturbance leads to shooting

PINNACLE A domestic disturbance in Stokes County has led to a wife shooting her husband.
On Thursday, the Stokes County Sheriffs Office and emergency responder personnel were dispatched to 1391 Hauser Road in Pinnacle in reference to a shooting incident. After arriving at the scene, officers learned that the gunshot victim was Timothy Ray Lynch, 44, who resided at that address.
Officers were informed that the gunshot victim and his wife, Carla Lynch, had been arguing for several days. During an argument on Thursday, Carla allegedly pulled a gun and shot her husband multiple times.
Timothy Lynch was transported by AirCare to the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center for treatment.
Members of Double Creek Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene, and Pinnacle Volunteer Fire Department provided assistance at the landing zone for AirCare.
