MOUNT AIRYMr. Richard Joseph Rybarczyk, 67, of 185 Parker Road, Mount Airy husband of Mrs. Marjorie Coppin Rybarczyk, passed away Friday, Aug. 14, 2009, at his home. He was born Jan. 25, 1942, in North Tonawanda, N.Y. to the late John and Stella Kureczka Rybarczyk. He was retired plant manager for the L.S. Starrett Company. After his retirement, Mr. Rybarczyk was employed part-time by OReilly Auto Parts. He was a member of the Mount Airy Elks Lodge and was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. Surviving is his wife, Mrs. Marjorie Coppin Rybarczyk of the home, three daughters and sons-in-law, Lynne and John McKerlie of Apex, Karen and Gus Braun, Fairport, N.Y. and Brenda and Paul Braun, of Durham, a son and daughter-in-law, Richard Joseph Rybarczyk, Jr. and Julie, Chesapeake, Va., eight grandchildren, Andrea McKerlie, Shannon McKerlie, Richard Joseph Rybarczyk III, Elisabeth Rybarczyk, Anna Braun, Christopher Braun, Logan Braun and Noah Braun. a sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Vic Daley, North Tonawanda, N.Y., and a brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Diane Rybarczyk, Ambler, Penn. A memorial funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009 at Holy Angels Catholic Church conducted by Father Eric Kowalski. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 2141 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 7000, El Segundo, CA 90245 or to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
