KING West Stokes Jeremy Cuthrell scored six of his teams seven total touchdowns, including a backbreaking 85-yard kickoff return to lead West over Surry Central, 46-21.
The Golden Eagles were limited to 150 yards of total offense.
Central pulled to within 20-7 at the half off a Dave Wilmoth to Wade Dawson one yard touchdown strike and received the ball at the start of the third quarter.
But West pushed Central backwards on the Eagles opening drive and followed up the defensive stop with an Austin Fleming 55-yard touchdown run.
The Golden Eagles returned the favor however, with Wilmoth scoring from two-yards out on Centrals next possession.
But once again, Cuthrell was too much for Central to handle, taking the ball 85-yards on the ensuing kickoff and virtually deflating the visitors from Dobson.
I felt like when we got it to 20-7 that if we go out and score quick we are in good position, Central head coach Monty Southern said. Our first drive after halftime went backwards and then they scored quick and when we did respond he (Cuthrell) took it 85 yards and I dont think we touched him.
Southern said point-blank, the Wildcats out performed his team.
Honestly they were better than us at everything, Southern said. Their offense was better than our defense, their defense was better than our offense, their special teams outplayed us, they came out warmed up took and the field better than we did. Beat us at every facet. Their playmakers made big plays and we had a lack of big plays.
Central was four-of-16 passing for 47 yards, two touchdowns and one interception and added 103 yards on the ground on 29 carries. Wade Dawson was Centrals top rusher, with all 40 of his yards coming on one run.
With the loss Surry Central drops to 0-7 overall and 0-3 in conference play. The Golden Eagles will travel to Bishop McGuinness next week.
