Erin Huffman and Justin Stovall marry in vows performed at Cody Creek Chapel

Erin Michelle Huffman and Justin Thomas Stovall were married on Dec. 27, 2008, in vows performed at Cody Creek Chapel, Dobson. The Rev. Tim Gammons officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Donnie and Cathy Huffman of Mount Airy. Her grandparents are Wayne Thomas of Pilot Mountain and the late John Jack Marion Martin Jr., Lucy Nirelle Nell Willard Huffman Martin and Donald Rex Huffman.
She graduated from Woodland Baptist Christian School in 2003 and Surry Community College in 2005 with an associate in arts degree. She graduated summa cum laude in 2007 from Appalachian State University with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education. She is employed as a lead Pre-K teacher in the Surry County Schools.
The bridegroom is the son of Calvin Stovall and Lisa Bollinger Moore. His grandparents are Anne Moose of Denver, the late Tommy Stovall, Ray Augusta and Margaret Irene Bollinger. He graduated from Rowan County Schools and Appalachian State University with honors.
A candle was lit in memory of the grandparents. Pictures in memory of the grandparents surrounded the candle at the entrance of the chapel.
The wedding music was presented by David Pruitt, pianist, and Josh Burgess and Brittany Burgess, vocalists. Songs included Household of Faith, A Page is Turned and You Raise Me Up.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Donnie Huffman. She wore a white strapless satin A-line gown with beaded metallic embroidery, split back and chapel train. She wore a crystal tiara with white elbow-length veil trimmed with beaded scalloped edging and carried a bouquet of white calla lilies with winter greenery tied with white sheer ribbon.
Jessica Llewellyn of Mount Airy was the maid of honor. She wore a black sleeveless dress with charmeuse straps and waist.
Lindsey Stovall of Cleveland, sister of the groom, was the bridesmaid. She wore a short black satin dress with a classic boat neckline.
They carried red calla lilies with winter greenery and red sheer ribbon.
Emily Puckett of Mount Airy was the flower girl. She wore an ivory dress and carried a silver basket with red rose petals.
The ring bearers were Reece Huffman and Ben Huffman, cousins of the bride, from Lawrenceville, Ga.
Taylor Burgess of Boone served the bridegroom as best man. Calvin Stovall of Cleveland, father of the bridegroom, was a groomsman.
The wedding director was Melissa Huffman, aunt of the bride, of Lawrenceville, Ga.
Flowers were provided by Airmont Florist with photography by Tilleys Photography.
The reception, hosted by the brides parents, was held at The Depot. Centerpieces with a Christmas theme were at each table. A special toast was made by the brides father. A slideshow of the bride and groom was presented by the bridegroom.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Disney World, Orlando, Fla. They reside in Mount Airy.
The wedding rehearsal dinner was held at The Depot and hosted by the bridegrooms parents. Guests were close friends, family and wedding attendants.
