Eagles soar
past Sauras

DOBSON The Surry Central tennis team pulled off a closer-than-it-looked win over visiting South Stokes Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles Taylor Casey and Kayla Feeney won close matches in the seocnd and third singles, respectively, to swing momentum in the home teams favor.
It was extremely important, Surry Central coach Dennis Miller said of those two matches, because last time we played South Stokes we won that time, but it was 5-4. We knew we needed those matches in singles because we didnt know how doubles would turn out.
Central won all three doubles sets to run away with the match.
