MOUNT AIRY Mrs. Ina Emogene Jarrell Fulk, 89, of 121 Old Lowgap Road, Mount Airy, widow of Mr. Charlie Fulk passed away Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009, at Central Continuing Care. She was born July 25, 1919, in Surry County to the late Sidney and Eva Hawks Jarrell. She was a member of Ivy Green Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Gloria Gail Branch, Richmond, Va., Kathy and Allen Jenkins, Dobson, two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles Devon and Mary Lou Fulk, Windsor, Kenneth and Shera Fulk, Mount Airy, eight grandchildren and four spouses, Chuck Fulk, Karen and Gerald Davis, Sherry Barnes, Keith and Jeanie Branch, Michael and Paula Fulk, Michelle Ward, Tammy and Sammy Wood, and Greg Jenkins, nine great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Josifae and Carl Dresser, Winston-Salem, Bernelle and Bill Rich, Roanoke, Va., a brother Arlan Jarrell, Mount Airy and two sisters-in-law, Polly Jarrell, Richmond and Frances Jarrell, Ruther Glen, Va., In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Fulk was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Jean Fulk Watson, three brothers, Oslar Jarrell, Oran Jarrell and Clellan Jarrell. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2008, at Ivy Green Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Terry Coe and Rev. Lester Bryant. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Moody Funeral Home of Mount Airy where her body will remain until carried to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service.
