MURRELLS INLET, S.C. Mr. Ronnie Franklin Simpson Jr., 37, of 500 Turret Court, Murrells Inlet, husband of Mrs. Amy Patricia Herald Simpson, passed away Friday morning, Nov. 13, 2009, at his home. He was born April 4, 1972, in Germany to Ronnie Franklin Simpson Sr. and Sarah Cox Simpson. He was self-employed, was a graduate of University of North Carolina with a bachelors degree in business administration and was a member of the Grand Strand Church of Christ in Myrtle Beach. Surviving are his wife, Amy P. Simpson of the home; two daughters, Kayla Simpson of Pilot Mountain and Caroline Simpson of the home; parents, Ronnie F. Simpson Sr. and Sarah C. Simpson of Mount Airy; a sister and brother-in-law, Paula and Brad Casstevens of Yadkinville; an honorary grandmother, Myrtle Wagoner of Mount Airy; and mother-in-law, Barbara Herald of Chapmanville, W.Va. Mr. Simpson was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rhoten and Mabel Easter Cox and the Rev. Chester F. and Irene D. Simpson. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel of Mount Airy conducted by the Rev. Rusty Reed and Minister Jay Thornell. Burial will follow in Little Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Moody Funeral Home.
