MOUNT AIRY Mrs. Daisy Kathleen Graham Green, 80, of Mount Airy, slept away peacefully in Gods arms on Sunday morning, Sept. 6, 2009, at her residence. She was born in Surry County June 12, 1929, to the late Henry and Connie Rawley Graham. She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Patricia Green Jessup and husband, Clifton, of Mount Airy; two sons, Roger Green and wife, Yvonne, of Mount Airy and Jimmy Green of Mount Airy; one sister, Elizabeth Graham Mankins of Mount Airy; one brother, Tolley Graham and wife, Cladys, of Georgia; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; one brother-in-law, Pete Pierce of Mount Airy; sisters-in-law, Ethel Green of Mount Airy, Alma Brim and Sarah Brim of Ararat, Va., Maggie Brim of Ararat, Va., Hattie Graham of New York; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Her husband, James Green; one grandson, Jamie Green; and two sisters, Henrietta Graham Pierce and Gladys Graham Bowman; two brothers, Wilson Graham and J.C. Graham, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Stateline Primitive Baptist Church, Mount Airy. Elder Carl Morgan will be the eulogist, and burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. on Sept. 10, 2009, at the Edward J. Spencer and Pattie J. Spencer Memorial Chapel, Mount Airy. Family maybe contacted at her daughter and son-in-laws home, Pat and Clifton Jessup of 332 Greentown Road, Mount Airy. Spencer Funeral Directors are in charge of all services and arrangements.
