Stephanie Renee Odum and Gregory Todd Wolford were united in marriage on June 20, at Chateau Morrisette in Meadows of Dan, Va. The Reverends Clyde and Karen Carter officiated the double-ring ceremony. A reception followed at Chateau Morrisette.
The bride, escorted by her father, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Ray Odum of Mount Airy. She is the granddaughter of the late William Roy and Clearsie Jane Edmonds and Corine McCraw and William Joseph Odum of Mount Airy. She graduated from North Surry High School and Gardner-Webb University and is employed as a qualified mental health professional with Carolina Child and Family Services in Mount Airy.
The groom is the son of Norma Jean Wolford of Wytheville, Va., and the late Charles M. Wolford. He is the grandson of the late Delmer and Kate Longanacre of Sinks Grove, W.Va., and J. E. and Mae Wolford of Wytheville, Va. He is a graduate of George Wythe High School, Virginia Tech and Averett University and is employed as a manager by the Technology Services Group of Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Va.
The bride’s daughter, Gabriel Elizabeth Bingman of Mount Airy served as maid of honor. Sister of the bride, Sherry Carlyle of Siloam, was the matron of honor. Scarlette Quisenberry of Ararat served as bridesmaid.
The grooms brother, Brian Kelcey Wolford, served as best man. Groomsmen were Kermon Carter of Daleville, Va., and Leonard Carter of Roanoke, Va.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Claudia Carter-Egge and also featured selections recorded by Enya. Allie Mannon directed the wedding.
The couple will reside in Roanoke.
