Gammons-Riley wedding vows spoken at Antioch Baptist Church

Angela Dawn Gammons and Johnny Wayne Riley were married June 13 at 4:30 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church. The Rev. Earl Echols officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Gammons of Mount Airy. She is the granddaughter of Jean Arrington, the late Troy Gammons and the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam Collins. She graduated from North Surry High School and received a bachelors degree in social work from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She is employed with Yadkin County Social Services.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Riley of Durham. He is the grandson of Louise Ball and the late Lester Ball, Gus Riley and the late Nola Riley. He graduated from Orange High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in fisheries and wildlife science from N.C. State University. He is employed with the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission.
The wedding solos were performed by Joni Calloway of King.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a strapless ball gown made of ivory taffeta with a semi-chapel-length train. The dress was accented by a satin clover sash secured by a vintage crystal brooch designed by Impression Bridal. Her headpiece was a vintage crystal hair comb. Her flowers were green hydrangeas and pink garden roses.
The matron of honor was Crystal Duncan of Traphill. The bridesmaids were Gina Gammons of Ararat, sister-in-law of the bride; and Jennifer Riley of Mebane, sister-in-law of the bridegroom. The bridesmaids wore sleeveless satin v-neck dresses with slim skirts in clover color. They carried pink roses.
The ring bearer was Abram Gammons, nephew of the bride.
The best man was Thomas Riley. The groomsmen were Jimmy Riley of Mebane, brother of the bridegroom; and Shane Gammons of Mount Airy, brother of the bride.
The guest register attendants were Holly Collins and Nickee Collins, both cousins of the bride.
The wedding director was Carlene Atkins.
The reception was hosted by the brides parents in the church fellowship hall. Jeralene Vernon served the wedding cake.
The rehearsal dinner was at 13 Bones in Mount Airy, hosted by the grooms parents.
The couple took a wedding trip to Townsend, Tenn., and now reside in Olin.
