– Christopher Jay Spence, 35, of 106 Marley Circle, Woodlawn, Va., was arrested on Sept. 25 and charged with felony assault by strangulation. Bond is $1,000 unsecured.
– Rodney Allyn Mosley, 29, of 208 Lynnwood Drive, was arrested on Oct. 1 and charged with felony probation violation out of county, misdemeanor probation violation out of county, and felony warrant for arrest for larceny. Mosley was held at the Surry County Detention Center under a $35,000 secured bond.
– Reggie Lamar Jones, 36, of 1604 Pamela Lorraine Drive, Charlotte, was arrested on Oct. 2 and charged with felony possession of stolen goods and felony criminal use of a counterfeit trademark. Bond is $5,000 secured.
– Xavier Jamal Quattlebaum, 22, of 1604 Pamela Lorraine Drive, Charlotte, was arrested on Oct. 2 and charged with felony possession of stolen goods and felony criminal use of counterfeit trademark. Bond is $5,000 secured.
– Breaking and entering, larceny, and damage to property were reported at 10274 N.C. 268, Elkin, when someone caused $120 damage to a door while entering the residence and stole tools valued at $2,130 tools.
– Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at 271 Red White Road, Dobson, on Oct. 3, when subject stole $50 pocket knives, $50 lighters, $200 Harley Davidson clothing, $100 jewelry, and $100 police asp from residence.
Criminal damage to property was reported at 9431 U.S. Highway 601, Dobson, on Oct. 3, when subject broke vehicle window causing $250 damage.
– Breaking and entering, larceny, and damage to property were reported at 1771 Pine Ridge Road, Mount Airy, on Oct. 3, when subject stole $48 medications, $50 stereo, and $800 jewelry from residence. $100 damage was caused to the back door during the break-in.
– Breaking and entering was reported at 132 Campground Lane, Lot 8, Pilot Mountain, on Oct. 4, when someone entered through the back door of residence.
– Criminal damage to property was reported at 147 Galyean Road, Mount Airy, on Oct. 4, when someone wrote obscenities on the front door, causing $50 damage.
– Breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering were reported at 109 Angel Fire Trail, Dobson, when a suspect entered the residence on Oct. 4 and took an undisclosed amount of cash.
– Criminal damage to property was reported at 3445 W. Pine Street, Mount Airy, when someone cut a rivet from the screen door and twisted metal pickets, causing $70 damage. This occurred on Oct. 4.
– Damage to property was reported at 1702 Caves Mill Road, Dobson, on Oct. 4, when someone shot the residence with a paintball gun, causing $100 damage.
– Larceny of motor vehicle was reported at 144 McMillian Lane, Mount Airy, on Oct. 4, when a Ford Escort was stolen.
– Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at 111 Tims Way, Dobson, on Oct. 8, when a tackle box valued at $20, a hand drill valued at $60, a $25 chisel set, and $80 worth of hand tools were stolen from the residence.
– Breaking and entering of an outbuilding and larceny were reported on Oct. 8 at 290 Three Queens Lane, Mount Airy, when a lawn mower valued at $2,442 and a $200 weed eater were stolen.
