Offices to close early today

In early observance of the July 4th holiday on Saturday, some area offices and businesses are closing early today and resuming regular hours on Monday.
The city offices in Dobson, Mount Airy and Pilot Mountain will all be closed today, and will reopen on Monday at 8 a.m. Surry County offices will also be closed and reopen on Monday from 8:15 to 5 p.m.
The post offices in Mount Airy at 111 South Main Street and 1110 West Pine Street will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. today and will be closed on Saturday.
The Pilot Mountain and Dobson post offices will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. today and will also be closed on Saturday.
The Visitors Center on North Main Street will maintain its regular hours through the holiday, which are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
The Surry Arts Council will also keep regular hours for the Andy Griffith Museum, which is housed in the bottom level of the Andy Griffith Playhouse at 218 Rockford Street.
Those hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.
