The new Dobson Farmers Market was well under way Thursday, offering patrons everything from handmade crafts to locally-grown fruits and veggies. The market is temporarily being held on South Crutchfield Street, but town officials say a more permanent location is set for Dobson Square Park once constructed.
Vendor Richard Woolredge of Barking Coyote Farm in Roaring River, chatted with customer Rebekah Dobson of Rockford. Woolredge had homemade chicken salad and pimento cheese, which were a draw for the crowd.
