There will be a Zumba party and toy drive Saturday from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at The Annex, 144 West Oak Street, in downtown Mount Airy.
The event, sponsored by B.H.Tharrington school, Reeves Community Center, and the Armfield Civic Center, offers free admission to anyone bringing a toy, clothing, or cash donation. Toys and clothing should be for children age 8 or younger, with all donations going to needy families selected through B.H. Tharrington.
Anyone wishing to make a donation who cannot attend the event should contact Whitney Summers at 336-429-2815.
