To Mayberry4Paws for coordinating a recent spay and neuter clinic, and for stretching a $5,000 grant to include many more animals than anticipated, in the event. And a thumbs up for those pet owners who participated in the event.

To the North Carolina State Board of Education for approving a request by Millennium Charter Academy to expand to 12th grade (the school at present goes to eighth grade).
We believe charter schools are just one of a number of community options available for families to educate their children, and the stronger those options are the better off a community is.
