MOUNT AIRY — Miss Trudy Faye Creed, 82, of Mount Airy, passed away at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center Monday, Feb. 11, 2013. Miss Creed was born on April 4, 1930, to the late Johnny B. and Hazel Davis Creed. She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Bobbie Creed of Mount Airy; special friend, Clane Evans; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Miss Creed was preceded in death by three sisters, Frances Creed, Elizabeth Carpenter and Mae Clifton; and three brothers, Bernie, Ralph and Ernest Creed. A graveside service will be conducted at the Creed Family Cemetery at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, by the Rev. Ricky Easter. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at Moody Funeral Home from 1:30 p.m. until the time to leave for the service. Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
