Break-in leads to charges against pair

DOBSON — A 20-year-old Mount Airy man has been charged in connection with a breaking and entering and larceny at a home on Little Mountain Church Road in the Ararat area.

Daniel Taylor Inman of 153 E. Cleve St. was released on bond after being arrested as an accessory after the fact to felony breaking and entering, according to Surry County Sheriff Graham Atkinson.

Warrants also have been issued for a co-defendant, Jacob Michael Tate, 22, of Capital Lane, Mount Airy, charging him with felonious breaking and entering and felony larceny.

The sheriff said Inman additionally is facing charges in Yadkin County for other break-ins and was served with warrants for those crimes at the time of his arrest in Surry.
