July 13-15, 2015 the Greater Mount Airy United Methodists in Mission offered a first ever Community Vacation Bible School at the Flat Rock Ruritan Club’s outdoor facilities. Churches who provided leadership included Salem, Mt Herman, Central, Epworth, Franklin Heights, Rockford Street and Mallalieu-Jones United Methodist Churches. Others providing prayer and behind the scenes support included Beulah, Oak Grove, Zion, and Maple Grove UMCs.

Numbers of participants were lower than expected but great fun was had by all.
