Between the Covers hosts grand opening

The Mount Airy Public Library’s Friends of the Library organization officially opened the doors of its secondhand book store, Between the Covers, Friday afternoon.

The store contains more than 20,000 donated titles, and proceeds benefit an array of programs at the library.

Between the Covers is located at 140 North Main St., next to the Earle Theatre, and is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
