DOBSON — A Mount Airy man was indicted last week on a charge previously dismissed by the state.

Jody Dale Golding, 26, of Merritt Street, was charged with serious injury by a vehicle, a class I felony, following a May 2013 wreck on Siloam Road.

The arrest warrant alleged that Golding was driving while impaired and that the accident caused injuries to a female victim including a broken pelvis, hip and leg.

In September 2015, the charge was dismissed in District Court. The dismissal stated that the blood test result wasn’t in and a prosecuting witness wasn’t present.

The indictment had not been served as of Thursday afternoon.
