Second grade students and their parents recently enjoyed breakfast together in the cafeteria of White Plains Elementary School as part of the school’s efforts to work with and include parents in their children’s education.

After the Oct. 3 breakfast, parents received information about second grade expectations such as reading and math homework, the Accelerated Reader program, and communicating in the work planner.
