DOBSON — The probation sentence of Kristal Esperance Brown, of Dobson, was revoked in Superior Court on Tuesday.
Brown, 35, of Rockford Road, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to manufacture sell and deliver a controlled substance in June 2015 and was given an intermediate sentence that included 92 days of credit for time served.
Having been found in violation of probation, her previously suspended six- to 17-month term of imprisonment was activated Tuesday.
• David Lee Cook was sentenced on convictions related to the unlawful discharge of a firearm. Cook, 43, of Toms Creek Church Road, Pilot Mountain, had pleaded guilty to discharging a firearm in an enclosed area and discharging a weapon into occupied property.
He was given two consecutive, suspended sentences that included 20 to 36 months with 47 days credit followed by 20 to 36 months and was placed on supervised probation for 36 months.
• Serena Marie Michel, of Red Hill Creek Road, Dobson, was ordered to serve six to eight months in prison after a probation violation was found. Michel had been convicted of felony larceny in June 2012. She was given 32 days credit for time served.
• Kent Lee Brown was sentenced to time served after pleading guilty to the lesser charge of misdemeanor simple possession of a schedule two substance, which was reduced from a felony violation, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Brown, 27, of Eleanor Ave, Mount Airy, was given an active sentence of 28 days and given credit for 28 days already served.
