Kelly Bryan Burns and Jordan Edward Pike, both of Wilmington, exchanged vows at 2 p.m. on June 29, 2013, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Wilmington. The Very Rev. Robert Kus officiated.


The bride’s parents are John Kendrick Burns Jr. and Patricia Kellett Burns of Wilmington. Her grandparents are Joseph Kellett and the late Shirley Kellett, and the late John and Maude Burns.


She graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2009 and is employed as a teacher at St. Mark Catholic Church.


The groom’s parents are Patricia Jones Pike and the late Stuart Pike of Mount Airy. His grandparents are Jack E. Jones and the late Rachel Jones, and the late Dan and Mary Pike.


He graduated from Mount Airy High School in 2004 and from UNC-Wilmington in 2008. He is employed at Wireless Data Systems in Wilmington.


The maid of honor was Sarah Katherine Burns, the bride’s sister, of Wilmington.


The bridesmaids were Caroline Caldropoli, Mary Brannan Gubitz, and Jennifer Wightman, all of Wilmington, and Laura Tovar of Charlotte.


The junior bridesmaids were Faith Kellett of Bedminster, N.J., and Natalie Nichols of Wilmington.


The flower girls were Lucy Bos of Wilmington and Brielle Chapman of Collegeville, Pa.


The best man was Jim Littleton of Mount Airy.


The groomsmen were Locke Bircher of Wilmington, Evan Cockerham of Winston-Salem, and Tillman Cockerham and Matthew Cockerham, both of Mount Airy.


The usher was Patrick Shea of Wilmington.


The organist was Sara Bryant. The violinist was Lorraine Westermark. The soloist was Alex Hill.


The reception was held at The River Room in the historic district of Wilmington. The event was hosted by the bride and groom, along with family and friends.


The rehearsal dinner was held on the evening of June 28 at Elijahs on the riverfront. It was hosted by Larry and Betsy Rose, the aunt and uncle of the groom.


The couple took their wedding trip to Charleston, S.C., and Sullivans Island.
