Arbor Ridge Retirement residents and friends walk to ‘Stamp Out Hunger.’

Arbor Ridge Retirement of Stanleyville held a a “Stamp Out Hunger Walk” on May 31. Chuck Harmon of Second Harvest Food Bank, participated in the walk which benefited his organization.

Pete Carroll, a 100-year-old World War II veteran and resident of Arbor Ridge, walked up front with Harmon. Carroll raised $450 for Second Harvest by enlisting support and donations from many donors.

After the walk, Carroll presented Harmon the funds that he had raised and thanked everyone for walking.
