Natalie Kaye Draughn and Grady Garth Badgett exchanged vows on April 20 at the Palomino Mountain Ranch in Lowgap. Robert Blake officiated.
The bride is the daughter of James Franklin and Nelda Gammons Draughn of Mount Airy and the granddaughter of Bessie Draughn and the late Frank Draughn, and Clyde Gammons and the late Ella Gammons. She is a graduate of North Surry High School and Surry Community College with an associate’s degree in applied science. She is a financial services representative at the State Employees’ Credit Union and a cosmetologist at Cut-N-Curl Beauty Salon in Dobson.
The groom is the son of Ricky Darrell and Delbra Garner Badgett of Mount Airy and the grandson of Idadell Langston and the late Darrell Garner, and the late Grady Badgett and the late Bertie Badgett. He is a graduate of North Surry High School and Surry Community College with an associate’s degree in arts and HVAC. He is self-employed at Badgett Farms.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The matron of honor was Melissa Marsh of Dobson. The bridesmaids were Jennifer Draughn of Mount Airy; Ashley Hull of Dobson; and Alicia Goings of Mount Airy.
The best man was Ricky Badgett of Mount Airy. The ushers were Terry Badgett of Mount Airy; Chad Badgett of Mount Airy; Dustin York of Mount Airy; and Keith Senter of Elkin.
The music for the ceremony and reception was provided by Marcus Draughn, brother-in-law to the bride.
A reception was held following the ceremony at the Palomino Mountain Ranch, hosted by the bride’s parents.
Following a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple reside in Mount Airy.
