Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care has received $7,350 from two organizations that recently hosted separate fundraisers.

Glory Days Antique Tractor Show, which held an event in September, presented Mountain Valley with a check for $3,500, and has pledged to conduct a second fundraiser next year, with proceeds going toward a hospice home in Yadkin County.

The National Wild Turkey Federation, Red Clay Long Beards Chapter, held its own fundraiser at the tractor show, and another at the Elkin Pumpkin festival. The group presented hospice with a check for $3,850.
