Some longtime local residents might think the old Blue Ridge Hotel has come back to life at the corner of North Main and West Oak streets in downtown Mount Airy. The gazebo is part of a mini-park that will include benches, landscaping and other features designed to provide a pleasant spot for downtown visitors to congregate. The facility is expected to be completed by Labor Day.
