The Lady Bears breezed to a perfect 9-0 tennis match against Winston-Salem Prep.
Mount Airy rested its top two singles players, but still dominated the Lady Phoenix 96-0 in both singles and doubles match.
Each singles player won by a 6-0, 6-0 score, and each doubles match was 8-0.
This easy victory came at an opportune time as the Bears lost a close 5-4 match last week to Bishop McGuinness and then had a match with East Surry halted by rain.
With Davi Barbour and Haley Thomas resting, Bree Hughes took the top spot and beat Kyala Searcy.
Jai Daniels beat Shay Michaux, and Carley Vanhoy won over Kela Flemoy.
Bailey Jackson beat Ebony McGill, Abby Hagwood over Deonica Reid and Baylee Atkins over Jada Boyd.
Then in doubles play, Davi Barbour and Thomas beat Searcy/Michaux, Hughes and Vanhoy beat Flemoy/McGill and Coleman Craddock and Eryn Wood won over Reid/Boyd.
The Bears left a space in their schedule to play Walkertown on Thursday, but the Wolfpack don’t have girls tennis. The Bears next host North Surry on Monday.
