Matt Edwards Mount Airy It's a hard one for me to decide, but similar to taking a test, I'm going to go with my first instinct or gut response, which is Teddy Roosevelt. I think part of it has to do with that innate spirit of adventure that his life entailed and his commitment to the preservation of the environment. He played a key role in establishing the National Park System and also started the Progressive Party movement.

Mike Chandler Mount Airy I am a John F. Kennedy fan. I think being so young in that position and I think he was trying to do things ahead of his time, such as making the U.S. a leader in the Space Race.

Van Lankford Mount Airy In my lifetime, I'll go with Ronald Reagan. I think he led us through a time of prosperity, and I was in college when he was president, so he was kind of a grandfather figure to us — Reagan had respect from both sides of the aisle and I think history will show him to be one of the best.

Mike Slaughter, Roanoke, Virginia Ronald Reagan. I just liked him. I hope Donald Trump will become more like him. Reagan was just a busy person and got a lot done, and he always showed common sense.
