Annual Surry County 4-H plant sale has begun

DOBSON — Surry County 4-H Youth Development Extension Agent Teresa Wilkins has announced the annual 4-H plant sale has begun.

Wilkins indicated a variety of plants are available in time for spring planting. A variety of blueberry, strawberry, raspberry and blackberry plants as well as herbs will be available. Wilkins said all proceeds from the plant sale will support the county 4-H program by helping sponsor county-wide 4-H events as well as scholarships, incentives and rewards.

All orders must be turned into the extension office by Feb. 27. Plants will be available for pick up on March 6 between 8:15 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the North Carolina Extension office in Dobson.
