Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Hall, 2026 Claudville Highway, Claudville, Va., announce the birth of a son, Nicolas Carson, on Dec. 21, 2009, at Northern Hospital of Surry County, weighing 8 pounds, 4 ounces.
Mrs. Hall is the former Jessica Thorpe. The new grandparents are Phil and Jeanette Hall of Mount Airy, Mary and Ricky Quesenberry of Mount Airy and Michael Thorpe of Mount Airy. The great-grandparents are Erna Williams of Mount Airy, James Thorpe of Emporia, Va., the late G.C. and Reva Ayers of Ararat, Va., and the late D.C. and Polly Hall of Ararat, Va.
