MOUNT AIRY — Mr. Estle Melvin “Buck” Bolen, 65, of Mount Airy, passed away Monday, Nov. 28, 2011, at his home. Mr. Bolen was born in Raleigh County, W.Va. on Dec. 31, 1945, to the late Melvin W. and Lena Marie Meadows Bolen. He was a loving father and brother who will be dearly missed by his devoted son and brother. Surviving is a son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Ashley Champ of Mount Airy; Cory Bolen and Matthew Bolen both of Winston-Salem; daughters and a son-in-law, Heather and Jamie Bean of W.Va. and Lynn Rickmond of Winston-Salem; one grandchild; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gilbert and Shirley Bolen of Mount Airy and Earnest and Shirley Bolen of Lincolnton; and a twin sister, Ester Campbell also of Lincolnton. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Rawley “Dink” Haynes and Gilbert Bolen.
