LAMBSBURG, Va. — Mr. Blake Anthony Dickerson, 50, of 2889 Lambsburg Road, Lambsburg, passed away Friday evening, Feb. 1, 2013, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mr. Dickerson was born Jan. 15, 1963, in Surry County, the son of Peggy Hiatt Dickerson and the late Jack Donald Dickerson. Blake was the warehouse manager at T.P. Supply Company and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He is survived by his wife, Gina Quesenberry Dickerson of the home; a daughter, Emily Dickerson of Kennesaw, Ga.; five sons and three daughters-in-law, Josh Dickerson and Justin and Sheila Dickerson, all of Kennesaw, Ga., Jared and Ariana Dickerson of Bakersfield, Calif., David and Mary Penley of Fort Bragg, N.C., and Kevin Penley and Denise Hall of Cana; five grandchildren, Brayden Dickerson, Tristan Dickerson, Zack Penley, Kaleb Penley and Madisyn Penley; his mother, Peggy Hiatt Dickerson of Mount Airy; a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Dean Simmons of Pilot Mountain, N.C.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Donnie and Sheryl Dickerson and Darrell and Sonia Dickerson, all of Mount Airy; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, L.D. and Judy Quesenberry of Lambsburg; and two sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Connie and Loren Robinson of Hillsville and Chris and Gail Quesenberry of Salem. The funeral service will be held Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at 2 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, with Bishop Ray Riska, Brother David P. Hiatt and Jared Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow in the James Monroe Hiatt Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
