DOBSON — Ms. Blanche Virginia Gordon Heath, 86, of Dobson, passed away on Sunday evening, May 6, 2012, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born in Surry County on July 5, 1925, to the late Robert Cleveland Gordon and the late Nancy Lee Norman Gordon. She was a member of Rocky Ford Baptist Church and was retired from the Mount Airy Furniture Co. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Harvey Raymond Heath Jr.; five sisters; and two brothers. Surviving are one daughter, Nancy Ella Pressnell of the home; three grandchildren, Carie Pressnell Beck of Mount Airy, Brian Raymond Pressnell of Dobson and John Henry and Katie Heath of Dobson; and two great-grandchildren, Camble Beck and Logan Pressnell. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Rocky Ford Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Claude Lloyd will conduct the service.
