Jessica Michelle Hauser and Kenneth Lee Flinchum
Mike and Sarah Hauser of Mount Airy announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Michelle, to Kenneth Lee Flinchum, son of Jimmy and Barbara Flinchum of Mount Airy and Diane Quesenberry of Dobson.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mae Hauser and the late George Hauser and the late Charles and Ethel Folger. She is a 2005 graduate of North Surry High School. She graduated from Western Carolina University in 2009 and is pursuing a Master of Art in teaching, with graduation expected in December 2013. She is employed as an art instructor at Bascom Museum in Highlands.
The groom-to-be is the grandson of the late George and Claire Flinchum and the late Carl and Nancy Quesinberry. He graduated from North Surry High School in 2002 and Appalachian State University in 2006. He is pursuing a recreational therapy degree from Western Carolina University with graduation expected in 2014. He is employed as a personal trainer at Western Carolina University Recreation Center.
A June 8 wedding is planned at the home of the bride’s parents.
