MOUNT AIRY — Mr. Jeffrey Paul Haynes, 45, of 195 Blue Meadow Lane, Mount Airy, passed away Monday April 11, 2011. Mr. Haynes was born Nov. 1, 1965, in Surry County to Dixie Ray and Betty Ruth Ferguson Haynes. He was a self-employed contractor and a taxidermist. Surviving are his daughter, Brittney Haynes of Mount Airy; his “soon-to-be granddaughter”; the mother of his daughter, Ann Haynes of Mount Airy; his parents, Dixie Ray and Betty Ruth Ferguson Haynes; his fiancée, Lisa Hooker of Mount Airy; his fiancée’s children, Heather Hooker and Jarrod Hooker; one sister and brother-in-law, Rhonda Lynn and Roger McKinney of Pinnacle; one brother, Andy Haynes; one nephew, Coy McKinney of Pinnacle; and a special friend, Mark Johnson of Mount Airy. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and will have a graveside service at a later date.
