1. Why are you running for commissioner?

Answer: The main reason I’m running is because I care about my community and Pilot Mountain. I already support our town. This will give me another way to serve our community.

2. What could the town be doing to stimulate economic development that it isn’t doing already?

Answer: I think that the town is trying hard to do what they can. It looks like the town is already working hard to work with economic development and tourism development. I want the town to continue to work with those avenues.

3. What do you think the town should do to get its financial problems under control?

Answer: From what I see and research, they are doing a good job. They have made cutbacks. By going to the meetings I can see that the town has made cutbacks. I think they are doing what they can. They’ve made a difference.

4. What are your goals if elected?

Answer: Until I’m elected and in a position to serve, I think it would be unwise for me to make decisions until I get all of the information. My goal is just to serve the people of Pilot Mountain.

5. What do you like best about Pilot Mountain?

Answer: Working right here in the heart of Pilot Mountain, I see a lot of people. I like the people. That’s an easy question to answer.

6. Do you see any problems with the town? And if you feel there are problems, how do you plan to fix them?

Answer: I’m not running for town commissioner because I see problems. It’s about what I can do. I think Pilot Mountain is a great place. I want to see us all work together to make it the best place it can be.
