Dining out at a Mount Airy eatery Saturday also will mean help for a local homeless shelter.
From 4 to 8 p.m. that day, Olympia Restaurant on Riverside Drive plans to lend a helping hand to The Shepherd’s House.
This will feature “Dale’s Famous Gourmet Chicken ‘N’ Dumplings,” served with two sides and offered at a price of $7.99.
Fifteen percent of all orders, including regular menu items and take-outs, will be donated to the homeless facility.
