MOUNT AIRY — Ms. Janice Gay Snow, 61, of 1988 Fancy Gap Road, Mount Airy, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born Feb. 27, 1951, in Carroll County, Va., to Geneva Hawks Bean and the late James Hylton Snow. She was retired from Cross Creek and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are her mother, Geneva Bean of the home; a sister, Brenda Faye Snow of the home; three brothers, Ronnie Bean of King, Keith Bean of Mount Airy and David Bean of Mount Airy; and a nephew, Donald Snow of Winston-Salem. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Midway Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Larry Phillips. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Midway Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Midway Baptist Church, 1015 N. Franklin Road, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
