DOBSON — A Rural Hall woman is behind bars on multiple charges related to the sale of prescription drugs in the Pilot Mountain area.
Sheriff Graham Atkinson said Thursday that an investigation into the sale of prescription pills was spurred by complaints from area residents.
“Officers identified Misty Drawn Sechrist, 30, of 571 Hwy. 65, as the person selling the narcotics,” the sheriff said.
Sechrist has been charged with four counts of the trafficking a schedule II controlled substance (Roxycodone), by possessoin, transportation, sale and delivery.
She was booked into the Surry County Jail under a $100,000 bond.
