The bride is the daughter of Brent and Kathy Davis of Dobson. Her grandmother is Arlene Davis of Dobson. Tonya is a graduate of Surry Central High School, Surry Community College and Appalachian State University. She is employed at Interlam Inc.
The groom is the son of the late Myron Wise and the Rev. Ted and the Rev. Cathy Turman of Mount Airy. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Marvin and Vera Haynes Combs of Cana, Va. Michael is a graduate of Mount Airy High School and Surry Community College. He currently is employed at Northern Star Garage.
The Bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father.
The pianist was Linda Poindexter and the organist was Brenda Whitaker. The groom played guitar and sang “Marry Me” by Train. The congregational hymn was “Would You Bless Our Homes and Families.”
Matrons of honor were Amanda Holt and Janet Sutphin. Bridesmaids were Susan Crissman, Casey Davis and Shannon Ferguson.
The best man was Matthew Wise. Groomsmen were Jerome Trent, Mike Golding, Willie Hodges and Joseph Marion. Guest registry and program attendants were Deaven Davis and Angie Palmer. Wedding director was Martha McDowell and assistant was Beverly Davis. Ushers were Brad Davis, Dustin Davis, Joseph Davis, Mr. Aaron Moser, Addison McDowell, Ches McDowell and Luke McDowell.

Following the ceremony a reception was hosted by the Bride’s parents at the church fellowship hall and was catered by Mrs. Pumpkin’s. The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the Groom’s parents on Friday evening and catered by O’Henry’s.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Savannah, Ga., and now reside in the Copeland Community.
