HUNTERSVILLE — Local East Surry swimmers competed in the 1A/2A Regional Swimming Championships on Friday in Huntersville.
For the girls, freshman Kelsey Tunstall led the way for the Lady Cards with a win in the 200 Individual Medley. This marks the first regional swimming title in school history, according to Coach Leah Tunstall. She also picked up a third place in the 500 yard freestyle.
