Memorial Day to alter sanitation pickups Monday’s observance of Memorial Day will bring changes in Mount Airy’s sanitation schedule.
This will include no yard waste collection that day. The next such pickups are to occur on June 3.
Also, the Monday industrial roll-off route will be serviced on Tuesday instead.
However, Monday’s commercial garbage routes will operate under the regular schedule.
