WPAC releases spring All-Conference selections

The Western Piedmont Athletic Conference released its All-Conference selections for the six spring sports on Thursday, and there was no shortage of athletes recognized from Surry County.

In total, North Surry and Surry Central combined for 24 All-Conference selections in the 2016 spring sports. Below is a look at all of the honored athletes in the WPAC.

Baseball

Conference Champion: Forbush

Player of the Year: Tyler Campbell (Forbush)

Coach of the Year: Jack Moss (Forbush)

All-Conference: (Forbush) Jack Crews, Carter Foster, Jamie Sheek and Blake Winebarger. (North Surry) Brady Watts, Chase Chandler and Kendal Tucker.
