SCC nursing assistant classes begin in January

DOBSON — The Corporate and Continuing Education Division of Surry Community College has openings in both the day and evening nursing assistant I course scheduled to start in January.

Day classes meet either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Evening classes meet either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. Some Saturday classes and clinicals required with evening classes.

Any individual wishing to take Nursing Assistant I will need to take the Test of Adult Basic Education at any one of our learning centers. This test is free and no appointment is necessary. Successful candidates must score 562 or better in order to register for nursing assistant I classes.
