DOBSON — The Glory Hallelujah Triumphant Pentecostal Church will hold its fourth annual Women’s Conference tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hampton Inn in Dobson.
The theme of the day will be “The Blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich and he addeth no sorrow with it.” The guest speaker will be the Rev. Belvis Early.
Early is a member of Redeemed True Church of the Living God Apostolic in Old Town, Va. She was ordained to preach the gospel on June 1993.
A native of Galax, Va., she is the oldest of three sisters and four brothers and is a graduate of Lucy Addison High School in Roanoke, Va. She attended Washington School for Secretary in Washington, D.C., and graduated from the Religious Arts in Biblical Studies, Theological Seminary of Jacksonville, Fla., in May 1996.
Early is a mother of three children, one daughter and two sons, and she has two granddaughters and six great-grandchildren.
Following the conference, there will be a birthday celebration for Brother Leroy Hunt who will be turning 70.
